Extend Folder Audit Trail with events of statically linked documents

We would like to display not only the folder-specific entries in the audit trail of a folder, but also the entries from the documents linked to the file. For example, if documents are linked in a static register of a folder, we would like to display in the audit trail of the folder whether and when these documents were opened.

There is no way to configure the audit trail in this way in the standard. It is also not possible to manipulate the audit trail query scripting (see https://servicedesk.sergroup.com/csm?id=csm_ticket&table=sn_customerservice_case&sys_id=fd82027d47162610cc69b7da216d43e8&view=csp).

In our opinion this is a very basic feature that should definitely be available.
