The Interface for creating Subscriptions shows a lot of technical information that is confusing and not relevant and is not suitable for end-users. We want our users to be able to subscribe to a folder / a document with one click, without having to worry about the events (these should be predefinable, see: https://ser.ideas.aha.io/ideas/IDEA-I-159) or other technical data (like shown in the screenshot).
As shown in the comment of @Ingo Gerken , general usability has already been improved by omitting all the technical data.
The open point of simplification and/or configurability of the events is further discussed in https://ser.ideas.aha.io/ideas/IDEA-I-159 .
Hello Mr. Gerken,
thanks for the reply.
"however, it could be difficult for users to know about all events in detail if they want only to receive a subset" --> correct, this is very difficult for the users
"probably more as a cubeDesigner setting" --> yes, this is exactly what we would expect.
BR,
Benjamin Schaller
webCube provides a simplified interface to create a subscription (see below) - however, it could be difficult for users to know about all events in detail if they want only to receive a subset
A predefined default could be helpful (probably more as a cubeDesigner setting)
