When you perform a search, the links in the hitlist always refer to a specific version. A lot of my users complain about and or ask why: If they change a document (creating a new version) and open it again, they open a - now - older version.
It's technically possible to always open the current / oldest version in a link ( &vu=3 ) or per coding. What I need is a setting in the hitlist (or search or somewhere else) that, if the user click on it, they always open the newest version as well.
Hello Ingo,
yes, this is a webCube related topic; sorry that I forgot to mention that. I am looking forward to this change.
Probably a Doxis webCube related topic.

Per default, webCube refers to the current document versions in the result list when performing a new search. If the documents are edited directly from the list afterwards, the item is updated automatically. If the document is edited from other contexts, the previous version may still be shown in the list. In this case the user receives this message while opening and gets the option to load the current version:
With cubeDesigner V14.4 this setting for document classes was introduced which will be supported by webCube in V14.4 (planned for Q1/2026)

Additionally we will improve the automatic updating in result lists or dashboard for locally changed objects.
