For the Doxis winCube and the classic webCube, you can configure supplementary views ("Nebenansicht") in the documente-file display in the CubeDesigner. Our users use this feature a lot, for example to show notes next to the e-file descriptors or the document. This is no longer supported in the webCube ICA-View. Our users have to switch from the document to the notes back and forth. They also can not longer see all the information together at a glance.

We think removing this feature is a significant decline in functionality and it should be added to the ICA-View as soon as possible again.
We primarily use the Supplementary view for notes (and in some cases links), focusing on elements where users interact directly with the document or metadata. While it's uncertain if other elements will become important in the future, having a flexible feature like the Supplementary view or a similar function for all elements would be beneficial.
Thanks for your feedback on this topic. In order to simplify the design and use, we have initially dispensed with the additional display of supplementary views in the new ICA objects displays. In practice, there were sometimes confusing, redundant elements and ribbons due to unsuitable settings.
However, we are evaluating making certain elements like notes available as side-pane again, possibly also as an option for the user. Which elements other than notes would be also of interest to you?
