Compress PDF-files in Blueline RecordExport

We are using the Blueline RecordExport and have realized that the created export-PDFs may become very large. When we use winCubes funktion to export such a document as "export to PDF" the file gets compressed very well and even a 2GB file ends up being only 70MB large.

It would be great to have such a compression method in the Blueline RecordExport to not archive the large size document in the first place but only the compressed.

    Hi Nils,

unfortunately the files provided do not really help. But obviously there is also Doxis Rendition Server involved, who converts the output to PDF/A-1b. The file exported from Doxis winCube is again not PDF/A-compliant. This may explain the reduced size.

To analyze the original problem we would need

    • The source file (not samples)

    • The file generated from blueline-recordexport

    • The file generated from Doxis Rendition Server (and information whether the files are OCRed on RenditionServer and version of Abbyy FineReader SDK that is installed on that machine.)

    • The file exported (as a pdf) from Doxis winCube.

I think this should be reported as support ticket, as this is not the platform for bug-reporting and document exchange, as it is public available.

@Guest We have seen you are writing about RecordExport on one side and File Export in the other.
Can you please provide more details like source-files and version information, that our support can have a look into it?

Please create a support ticket, as we don't want to share files via this public portal.

    Kind regards,
    Marc
