winCube/webCube support using Outlook (new)

Drag&Drop from Outlook (new) to winCube/webCube doesn't work anymore. Also sending documents from winCube. Should have to do with the missing support of COM interface. This is a basic feature needed! Maybe similar to IDEA-I-123

New Outlook implements only minimal Drag & Drop support. They do not implement the classic "Windows way" to drop files.
Also an implementation of the Simple MAPI interface is missing which is used by many applications to send mails.

Drag & Drop from New Outlook:

It is possible to drop mails from New Outlook to Explorer. Other Drop Targets are not working. You can't drop mails from New Outlook to other drop targets like Doxis winCube, Word and also not to classic Outlook. Currently no application other than explorer is able to act as a drop target for mails dropped with New Outlook. New Outlook and explorer seem to do something under the hood here. The official Drag & Drop mechanism is not offered by New Outlook.

A workaround is to drop the mails to explorer first and then drop from explorer to Doxis winCube.

Drag & Drop to New Outlook:

New Outlook accepts files being dropped in the classic "Windows way". Documents can be dropped from Doxis winCube into mails in New Outlook. This is a way to send Doxis documents with New Outlook.

Send functions offered by Doxis winCube

The send functions offered by Doxis winCube are based on the Simple MAPI protocol. This protocol is also used by Explorer or other (Office) applications to attach files to mails and send them. All these applications will fail to send mails.

We hope that Drag & Drop from New Outlook will be addressed by Microsoft soon. A lot of users are complaining this missing functionality.
For the send function in Doxis winCube we might have to use a new API. This might be realized with the feature Freigeben / Share in future.

At the moment New Outlook is not officially supported.
