When we process invoices in format XRechnung (EN 16931‑1) there is a generic representation in html generated by DIIA to review the content of the invoice. Compared to the former invoice in PDF, the the html-rendering is quiet bloated. 1 page of PDF transforms to 8 to 10 pages of html because there are so many empty areas in the view which makes it nearly useless. We already asked SER if we could use a custom template for the presentation of the invoice but they said that it was not supported yet.
Please do something about this topic since we must be able to process invoices in the XRechnung format from 2025/1/1 ongoing.
DIDU 12.4 and later (also DCES 12.4) supports the creation of human readable representations of XML-only invoices in HTML and PDF formats. Please see our Doxis News Q3/2024 for more details. Although HTML is the default represetation in DIIA, this can be switched to PDF if desired. We are not planning to support custom templates for rendering invoices, as the templates would have to be adapted with each new version of the e-invoice format, resulting in high maintenance effort for our customers.
