In a load balancer environment, where several webCube servers are hidden behind a DNS alias, the user does not know which webCube server he is currently using.
For troubleshooting, it would be helpful if the user could name the server name when opening a service ticket. This should make troubleshooting easier for the system administrator.
An extension of the info dialog in the webCube would therefore be helpful.
With all due respect, I can see the version number, who the licensee is and how long the license is valid without logging in. As soon as I am logged in, I see the connected CSB-Server in the information dialog. What exactly is the protection to hide the webCube server name? If you have set up a secure firewall and load balancer, the client will probably not be able to access the webCube server directly anyway.
However, the webCube server information would make troubleshooting much easier, as only one log needs to be searched and, if necessary, only one configuration needs to be checked.
Sorry, but I can see the actual CSB node in the "information" panel along to multiple version numbers of used products. Why is showing the webCube server name not an option? It would be possible to make this feature optional and configurable in webCube Admin console.
Because of security reasons we are not planning to show technical endpoints in the client user interface. If this information is required, it should be obtained from backend logs of the application server or loadbalancer.
